The Pediatric Clinic physicians have provided for the health needs
of infants, children, and adolescents since 1949. We are dedicated
to providing the highest quality health care for our patients in
accordance with the standards established by the American
Academy of Pediatrics. We believe that providing accurate
information is an essential part of good medical care, so that
parents can make the best decisions on behalf of their children.

Our Clinic: Our clinic has a colorful child friendly atmosphere.
We have a separate waiting area for well children. Our clinic is
also handicap accessible.

Appointments: The office is open between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday. Office visits are made by appointment
only. Our appointment desk opens at 7:00 a.m. for calls.
We are open on Saturday and Sunday for emergencies only.
Emergencies are usually triaged through phone calls taken from
the nurse the night before.

After Hour Calls: If you have an urgent problem that cannot wait
until the next day, you can call our clinic number: 225-926-4400,
stay on the line to reach the answering service. They will give your
information to the triage service and someone will call you back.

For life threatening emergencies call 911 or go to your nearest
emergency room. If there is a need for Poison Control their number
is: 1-800-222-1222.

Hospitals: All of our physicians have privileges at the following:
- Woman's Hospital
- Our Lady of The Lake
- Baton Rouge General on Bluebonnet

Medical Records: The medical records department provides copies
of medical records when a properly filled out and signed authorization
for release of protected health information is submitted.
We use a service that charges appropriate fees as governed under
Louisiana law.

No Smoking Policy: The Pediatric Clinic is a smoke free facility.
